Liverpool slumped to a sixth defeat in seven games when an unrecognisable side were beaten at home by Crystal Palace in the League Cup fourth round on Wednesday evening. Ismailia Sarr, a regular goalscorer against the Reds, scored twice shortly before half-time and Yeremy Pino netted late on as the Londoners ultimately eased to a 3-0 victory.

The results means Liverpool - which sported 10 changes from the Premier League defeat at Brentford at the weekend - are on their worst run of results in 16 years.

The ECHO was in attendance at a very wet Anfield and here we run the rule over the performance of the Liverpool players.
