Jamie Redknapp has accused Arne Slot of fielding a Liverpool team he knew was not good enough to beat Crystal Palace, before saying "everything" is a problem area at the club.

Despite the Reds' 3-2 away defeat to Brentford on the weekend, Slot made ten changes for the Carabao Cup fourth-round clash against Oliver Glasner's side. As well as the multiple changes to the starting eleven, he also flooded the bench with academy stars.

Palace, for the third time this season, got the better of the Reds through a brace from Ismaila Sarr and a later goal from Yeremy Pino. When the team was confirmed, Redknapp admitted he was worried by how young the team was. He also believes the problems are racking up dangerously for Slot.
