One of four all-Premier League clashes in the EFL Cup fourth round will take place at Molineux on Wednesday evening, as Wolverhampton Wanderers host Chelsea.

This season, Wolves have endured a difficult start in the Premier League, collecting just two points from their opening nine matches of the 2025-26 campaign, leaving them at the bottom of the table. Vitor Pereira’s side remain winless in the league and are coming off a narrow 3-2 defeat to Burnley. However, the EFL Cup has provided some relief, with Wolves overcoming West Ham United and Everton to reach this stage.
