TRANMERE Rovers' boss Andy Crosby feels there is more to come from his squad after they extended their unbeaten run to three League Two games with a 1-1 draw at Accrington.

Rovers were trailing to Shaun Whalley's goal after the winger marked his first appearance of the season by firing home in the 16th minute.

However, Charlie Whitaker levelled after 63 minutes with a superb goal from the edge of the area before, a minute later, Tranmere goalkeeper Joe Murphy saved Paddy Madden’s penalty and headed follow-up.

The point means 17th-placed Rovers keep a three-point gap over Stanley in 21st.

Crosby said: "The overall feeling is disappointment. I am disappointed with certain aspects of the game. We need to play with more composure and more intelligence.

"We gifted them a goal and then we scored a really good goal. Charlie’s was a brilliant finish and he is now off the mark in terms of league goals. That was one of the few times we showed real composure.
