Odsonne Edouard has pulled no punches about Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, delivering a scathing assessment of their time together at Leicester City.

The 49-year-old took the reins in November 2024, but a swift drop from the Premier League sealed his fate. United may have had a hand in his appointment at Leicester, following a successful four-week spell as interim boss at Old Trafford after Erik ten Hag was given the boot.

The Foxes suffered two defeats to United during that time, giving the club's top brass a good look at Van Nistelrooy. However, his tenure at Leicester saw a meagre four league victories out of a possible 25, with the Foxes finishing the season a whopping 13 points adrift of safety.

His departure was confirmed shortly thereafter. A public spat with Harry Winks certainly didn't help matters, and it appears he and Edouard were far from best mates, reports the Manchester Evening News.
