AFC Bournemouth hosted Nottingham Forest at Dean Court on Sunday night, one of the Forest fans’ most loved and revered trips of the season.

The visiting supporters and new manager Sean Dyche, who is well known for his love of the Cherries were treated to a pulsating start by the home side that blew away the visitors, much like an autumnal storm.

The breakthrough, however, was rather unfortunate for the visitors; a wrongfully awarded corner for AFC Bournemouth was then directly scored by Marcus Tavernier.

Whilst the circumstances of the goal were lucky for Andoni Iraola’s side, the lead was well deserved by AFC Bournemouth and when Eli Junior Kroupi scored his fourth goal in three appearances, the points were all but wrapped up.

The second half was not much of a spectacle, the home side shifted down the gears and lifted the accelerator off the floor and cruised for the final 45 minutes, keeping the away side at bay with ease.
