A Bundesliga striker, who is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur, has a release clause in his contract and has already made a decision on his future.

Tottenham have had issues up front this season, with Mathys Tel still finding his feet in the Premier League, while Richarlison has struggled to build on his decent start to the campaign.

Dominic Solanke remains on the treatment table, while Randal Kolo Muani finally made his first Premier League start for the Lilywhites on Sunday after overcoming his injury woes.

It has been suggested that Spurs are looking to add a number nine to their squad in January, and just a few days ago, a report from TBR Football claimed that Tottenham were plotting a move for a Hoffenheim starlet.

The player in question is Fisnik Asllani, who has scored six times for Hoffenheim in nine matches since returning from his loan spell from SV Elversberg in the summer.

Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg has now taken to social media to reveal that the 23-year-old has a release clause in his contract.
