Tottenham Hotspur want to invest in their front line in the January transfer window, but their top target may be a complete non-starter.

According to reports, Spurs had an offer for Antoine Semenyo rejected in the summer before the winger put pen to paper on a new four-year contract at Bournemouth.

It has been widely reported that Tottenham may make a move for the Cherries star in January, but they are not the only ones interested in the player.

According to reports, the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United are ready to challenge Spurs for Semenyo, with the winger’s form this season attracting a lot of interest.

A couple of weeks ago, it emerged that Semenyo has an undisclosed release clause in his contract, and that gave some Spurs fans hope that a deal may be possible.
