Jamie O’Hara has not been impressed with the performances of one of Tottenham Hotspur’s big-money summer signings.

Seven players arrived through the door at Tottenham in the summer, and they have had contrasting starts to their time at N17.

Joao Palhinha has hit the ground running since his loan switch from Bayern Munich, and according to various reports, Spurs have already been convinced to activate the midfielder’s £26m purchase option.

There can be little argument against the fact that Mohammed Kudus has been Tottenham’s best player this season, with the winger proving nearly unplayable since his summer switch from West Ham.

However, not everyone has hit the ground running in the way that the Ghanian and the Portuguese stars have.

Randal Kolo Muani only made his Premier League debut against Aston Villa, having picked up a dead leg soon after his loan switch from Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman then made his first start against Everton on Sunday.

However, it is the performances of Xavi Simons that have disappointed O’Hara, who revealed that the Dutchman is yet to convince him.
