Tottenham Hotspur have a plethora of young talents within the ranks at Hotspur Way and away on loan. And one of those academy standouts who has earned his loan move is George Abbott.

He has been away on loan at Wycombe Wanderers in League One. And it looked like he is set to take next steps in his development across the seasons. But he has now suffered a quad injury.

Michael Duff revealed that George Abbott is potentially facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines. And he also insisted that he may need to undergo surgery.

Abbott had been a core part of the North Londoners and was playing regularly for Wycombe. He earned his move to the League One side after he stepped up from his impressive spell at Notts County last season.
