Mohamed Salah returns to the Liverpool team as one of three changes made by Arne Slot for the trip to Brentford. The Egypt captain was a substitute on Wednesday night as the Reds ran riot in Germany with a 5-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

Salah came off the bench with around 15 minutes remaining at Deutsche Bank Park but starts this evening in place of Alexander Isak, who is sidelined with a groin problem.

Hugo Ekitike leads the line after his goal-scoring exploits against his former club midweek with Cody Gakpo on the left side of the attack.
