Liverpool can breathe a sigh of relief after Conor Bradley avoided being issued with a suspension during the Reds’ 5-1 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt. The Northern Ireland international was introduced as a 19th minute substitute in place of Jeremie Frimpong as Arne Slot’s side came from behind to return to winning ways in emphatic style in Germany.

Bradley had been booked in both of Liverpool’s first two Champions League matches against Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray.

Had he been booked again against Eintracht Frankfurt, the right-back would have had to serve a one-match ban, in line with UEFA rules, and been forced to sit out the Reds' next Champions League clash at home to Real Madrid as a result.
