Tottenham Hotspur have been decimated by injuries in each of their last two seasons, and the situation has shown no signs of improving under new boss Thomas Frank.

Spurs are currently without 10 first-team players, with Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie the latest to be added to the treatment table. Romero and Udogie missed the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday, with the former withdrawing from the warm-up following an adductor strain and the latter feeling irritation on his knee after returning from the international break.

During the past international break, Yves Bissouma was stretchered off with an ankle injury in Mali’s 4-1 win over Madagascar in a World Cup qualifier. The midfielder was only returning from a knee injury, which has seen him miss the 2025/26 campaign with Spurs thus far. Another Tottenham player who sustained an injury during the international break was Ben Davies.
