Jurgen Klopp is Liverpool's greatest Premier League manager - but things could have been different had he accepted Manchester United's call in 2013.

The 58-year-old has explained why he famously decided to snub coaching the Red Devils - before finally moving to England two years later at Anfield.

Klopp was highly-sought after during his spell at Borussia Dortmund from 2008-2015 having guided them to back-to-back Bundesliga titles [2011 and 2012] as well as the DFB-Pokal in 2012.

And he earned rave reviews for taking the German giants to the Champions League final at Wembley in 2013, with his side falling to a late defeat against rivals Bayern Munich.

His free-flowing attacking philosophy caught the eye of United, who were looking to replace the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford the same year.
