Luke Shaw and Mason Mount have both declared the need for "consistency" ahead of our Premier League meeting with Liverpool.

The trip to Anfield marks the end of the October international break, and a chance to build a 2-0 win over Sunderland, last time out.

Mount notched the opener in that game, a perfectly placed two-touch finish just inside the box with only eight minutes played, later added to by Benjamin Sesko's second-ever United goal.

In a dual interview with his United colleague Shaw, the midfielder expressed the need to use that win as a platform to kick on and build some momentum.

"It's really important to be consistent if you want to win games," Mount declared. "We're a little bit too up and down at times, so that's also something that we need to address and really improve on."

Shaw concurred: "The most important thing is consistency.

"I think, at the moment, we're winning one game and losing the next, and I think it's been like that for a while now.

"We spoke about it a lot, on building good momentum and about winning games. I think...
