Going into the game, the Whites had picked up three points away from home - the win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last month. Leeds knew that a win over the Clarets today would take them seven points clear of their relegation rivals in the Premier League table.

Instead, Burnley went within a point of Leeds with goals in both halves. The visitors record back to back Premier League away defeat for the first time this season. Farke looked unhappy at full time, and so did the whole of the away squad.

Next up for Leeds is the Friday night clash under the Elland Road lights against West Ham United under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
