Adrien Truffert has settled in quickly at AFC Bournemouth, after joining them from Stade Rennais on June 16th.

The 23-year-old has already cemented his place under Andoni Iraola as he played every minute in the Premier League this season.

L’Equipe interviewed him to discuss life in England, his move to Bournemouth and other topics.

The left-back came up through the Ligue 1 side’s academy and spent five years with their first team before leaving them for the Cherries. They signed him to replace Milos Kerkez, who was sold to Liverpool in June.

Truffert says his family has also played a role in helping him adapt at the new club.

“It’s going very well so far. Collectively, we’re having a good start to the season, and individually, I’ve adapted quite well to the team and the league. My wife and I are also very happy with the living environment. It’s a whole package that’s helping me settle in well,” he said.

He was asked whether he’s surprised with his quickly adaption to the Premier League.
