A player who once featured in the Premier League has been handed a jail sentence after being found guilty of running a business selling laughing gas 'on a commercial scale'. 

Jamar Loza began his senior playing career at Norwich City in 2013, and played just once in the English top flight, when the Canaries lost 2-0 to Arsenal in May a year later. 

The forward then saw out a series of loans away from Carrow Road which took him to clubs including Coventry City, Yeovil Town, and Stevenage, before the player moved on in 2016 to bounce around lower-league outfits. 

But in 2022, the 31-year-old was arrested twice in one week, with the first stop seeing police find a number of nitrous oxide canisters in his Mercedes on August 17 of that year. 

Loza was arrested, interviewed, and released, before police sanctioned him again days later in a second stop.
