Florian Wirtz will want to prove everyone wrong but some things are out of his control.

The Reds have had a slow start to the season in terms of performances, with none of the new signings, except Hugo Ekitike, hitting the ground running.

Wirtz has, arguably, had the worst start given how much he was signed for and the expectations he had, with the German yet to register a goal or an assist.

There is no doubting his talent, though, and many are still backing him to shine, with almost everyone back in his home country insisting that he will come good.

Germany legend Jurgen Klinsmann is one of those who is failing to rule Wirtz out just yet, although he has tipped him to do something that is simply impossible.
