Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has joined Jorge Mendes’s agency Gestifute, according to Portugal’s Mais Futebol.

The Italian coach, who recently calmed talk regarding his future, left Wasserman to work with one of football’s most powerful agents. The move adds him to a strong network that already includes several top managerial names.

Maresca now ranks among the main international figures under Mendes. The Portuguese agent manages José Mourinho, Sérgio Conceição, Nuno Espírito Santo and Marco Silva.

All four have built solid careers across Europe, helping to strengthen the agency’s. Mendes’ presence in the Premier League, in particular, continues to grow with this addition.

The report also states that Brazilian coach (and ex-Chelsea player) Filipe Luís has recently joined up. Mendes is negotiating the renewal of the former left-back’s contract with Flamengo. The partnership shows how the agency keeps expanding its footprint in South American football as well.

In Portugal, Mendes represents Tiago Margarido of Nacional, along with Bruno Lage and Gonçalo Feio. Maresca’s new partnership could tighten his links to Mendes’s Premier League network. Still, it remains to be seen how this change might affect his future at Chelsea.
