There are no concerns from Sonia Bompastor about Chelsea, despite their poor form of late

Despite Chelsea’s disappointing recent form, Sonia Bompastor remains confident in her team’s chances in the Champions League. 

The Blues continue their European campaign on Wednesday night as they host Paris FC at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea kicked off their Champions League journey with a disappointing 1-1 draw against FC Twente last week.

Sonia Bompastor’s team have now drawn two of their last three games but despite the uncharacteristically poor couple of weeks, Chelsea’s manager is still confident her team can go far in Europe.

“We want to compete as far as we can in every competition that we are involved in,” Bompastor said. “The Champions League is a special one because this is the biggest competition that you can play in as a club and it’s also the only trophy that is missing in this club. This is also the reason why it is so special for us.”
