Gareth Barry has backed Jack Grealish to reach new heights at Everton after his stoppage time winner against Crystal Palace.

The playmaker sparked the greatest scenes experienced so far at the club’s new stadium when he ended the Eagles’ long unbeaten run with his late finish sealing a memorable comeback win.

It was the latest milestone of his loan spell - one that has seen him win over Blues supporters while also, he has said repeatedly, regaining his love for football.

His love affair with Everton had already earned him his first career Premier League player of the month accolade and his first goal in Royal Blue was the catalyst for huge celebrations.
