The international break saw Diogo Jota's Portugal team-mate and close friend Ruben Neves unveil a touching tattoo of him hugging the late Liverpool forward.

There have been numerous tributes paid to the former Merseysiders forward and his brother Andre Silva who were killed in a car accident on July 3. Just over four months later, Neves was competing against Ireland in his country's World Cup qualifier.

In the first minute of injury time, Neves popped up with a late winner, sparking delirium amongst him and his Portugal team-mates. With his emotions and those of his team-mates at their highest, he also paid tribute to Jota by kissing the 21 on his shirt, which was the number Jota regularly took when on international duty.
