Liverpool’s 2025-26 season so far has been rather strange.

There have been several moments throughout the season when it’s felt like the Reds were going to walk the league.

However, the fact that they’ve lost all of their last three games across all competitions is a slight cause for concern.

Some of Arne Slot’s players, such as Ibrahima Konate, have been miles off the pace, but the fact that it’s still early in the season means that they still have time to turn things around.

Almost every team goes through a rough patch at some point in the season.

Even if they win the Premier League or the Champions League, there’s always going to be a game or two when it feels like they’ve lost their way.

In Liverpool’s case last season, this fortunately happened after they’d already won the Premier League, so there was no harm done.

This season, however, after winning five top-flight games in a row, the fact that they’ve now lost two on the bounce came as quite a shock.
