Manchester United have been handed a major injury boost, with one of their most exciting young prospects returning to training after two months.

According to reliable insider Sully Talkz, Sekou Kone is now back in training with the United Under-21s.

The young midfielder is expected to make his long-awaited return to competitive action right after the international break.

The Red Devils saw their U21 National League Cup tie against Tamworth abandoned after Kone suffered a horrific head injury before the break.

The 19-year-old collapsed to the turf following a brutal clash of heads with a Tamworth player, sparking immediate concern from both sets of staff.

He received lengthy treatment on the pitch and was subsequently stretchered off.

It was later revealed that he fractured his eye socket and needed to spend some time on the sidelines to recover.

The Mali-born midfielder now looks close to full fitness, and United fans will be eager to see him back in action soon.

Kone moved to Old Trafford from Malian side Guidars FC last summer.

He is already being touted as the natural successor to Casemiro in United’s holding midfield role.
