Chelsea have a team loaded with stars, but John Barnes believes one member of the squad has ruined their own legacy over the years.

Barnes is a legend of the game, being someone who dazzled for Liverpool and England as he put together a memorable career.

Many football fans still talk about his legacy due to his contributions to the sport, and many players would love to be talked about as positively as he was when they were retired.

Chelsea have plenty of former greats in that category, but Barnes appears to be less sure about a member of the current squad.

Raheem Sterling is currently a forgotten member of the Chelsea squad because Enzo Maresca decided he doesn’t want to use him, which is hurting his legacy.

However, Barnes believes the winger’s injury is due to having “moved around too much” over his career.

The Liverpool legend spoke to O’Neil Sportswear UK and chose himself over Sterling as a better player, citing Sterling’s transfer history as a reason for that.
