The meaning behind Alejandro Garnacho's striking new neck tattoo has been revealed. 

The Argentinian winger's large array of tattoos had been the subject of interest from fans long before he sealed a move to Chelsea this summer. 

Many of his inkworks are inspired by television and film, with Garnacho sporting a sleeve of Prison Break characters, a portrait of actress Milly Bobby Brown and a tattoo of a scene from Japanese series Captain Tsubas.

However supporters have this season spotted some brand new ink on the Argentinian, this time on the front of his neck.

The tattoo written in Spanish was visible as Garnacho made his Champions League debut for Chelsea against Benfica on Tuesday.

It reads: 'Nuncio es suerte, simpre es dios', which translates to, 'It's never luck, it's always God.'
