Sandro Tonali has provided insight into the Newcastle United dressing room reaction to the defeat to Arsenal.

The Magpies suffered a dramatic 2-1 loss at home to the Gunners in the Premier League. Newcastle were leading for the majority of the game thanks to a first-half goal from Nick Woltemade.

Arsenal then responded with late goals from Mikel Merino and Gabriel Magalhaes, to hand Newcastle a disappointing defeat at St James' Park. Eddie Howe and Co. will now prepare to face Union Saint-Gilloise in the Champions League in their next fixture, where they will be determined to return to winning ways.

It was Tonali who provided the assist for Woltemade to put Newcastle in front on Sunday. Now, the Italy international has reflected on the defeat to Arsenal and why he had flashbacks from a previous loss this term.
