Dermot Gallagher has rejected Marco Silva's claim Fulham should have been awarded at least one penalty in Sunday's loss to Aston Villa.

Unai Emery's men had to come from a goal down to register their second win in three days - and their first of the Premier League season.

Fulham went ahead through Raul Jimenez, before Ollie Watkins hit back with an equaliser.

However, in between Fulham felt they had two strong shouts for a spot-kick, first when Emi Martinez and Josh King clashed in a one-on-one situation - and then when King's shot hit Matty Cash's hand.

Eighteen-year-old King was booked for diving for the second Premier League match in a row, prompting Silva to cry foul.

However, speaking on Sky Sports' Ref Watch, Gallagher rejected the claim, albeit admitting King didn't deserve his caution.

"This is another tough decision," Gallagher said. "I don't know why the player pushes it round one way and tries to go the other.
