Aston Villa’s season kicked into gear last week after securing successive home wins.

Having beaten Bologna 1-0 on Thursday night, Unai Emery’s side followed up by defeating Fulham 3-1 in front of the home fans on Sunday afternoon.

Raúl Jiménez opened the scoring for the Cottagers inside the first three minutes before Ollie Watkins scored his first of the season to level the match before half-time.

John McGinn then completed the turnaround shortly after the interval, before Emi Buendía extended Villa’s lead moments later.
