Leeds United could double up on Adama Traore on Saturday to help Stuart Dallas cope, according to Danny Mills.
That is the view of ex-Whites and England full-back Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Marcelo Bielsa confirmed Junior Firpo will miss the game at Elland Road.
The Leeds boss revealed in his pre-match press conference that the left-back will miss the next two games.
He missed the 1-0 loss to Southampton last week and Stuart Dallas, 30, filled in.
Traore returned to the Wolves starting XI in their 3-2 win against Aston Villa after being dropped to the bench in the previous two games.
“Traore, since the beginning of last season, hasn’t been in great form,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“We know about his pace, we know about his power but if you know about that then you just drop off or you get right on his touch to start with. You could double up on him. Leeds will have a plan for that.
“Dallas is the sort of player that will relish it, he’ll know that he’s up against it. He knows that he’s on a hiding to nothing.
“We’ve seen before when they’re put in that position that’s what they are like, they’re determined to prove people wrong and to make a point. I don’t think this will be any different.”
Traore has not scored or provided an assist in 10 games across all competitions for Wolves.
He only scored twice for the Midlands outfit last season as they finished 13th in the Premier League.
