Arsenal have reportedly made contact to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, as per Caught Offside.

After joining Les Parisiens from Napoli in January last year, the 25-year-old enjoyed a stellar debut campaign, winning the treble. In 32 appearances across all competitions, he made 15 goal contributions last term.

The Georgian displayed average performances during the first half of this season but has started showcasing his best once again this year, scoring 13 goals and registering eight assists in 39 appearances in all tournaments.

Moreover, the forward has been guiding his side to mount a title charge in Ligue 1, sitting four points ahead of second-placed RC Lens with a game in hand.

Kvaratskhelia even helped the French giants beat Liverpool 2-0 by scoring the second in the Champions League quarter-final first leg in midweek.

Now, Caught Offside claim that Arsenal are prioritising strengthening the left flank this summer and are showing ‘genuine’ interest in signing Kvaratskhelia, having been impressed by his recent eye-catching performances.
