Rangers will be delighted by the results of Arsenal and Liverpool in the Champions League this week.
Arsenal beat Sporting CP 1-0 and are the favourites to see it through in the second leg at home, while Liverpool will find it hard to go through after losing 2-0 to PSG in the first leg.
Rangers are eyeing qualification for the Champions League next season, and that is why the UEFA coefficient will matter a lot in the coming weeks.

The Ibrox outfit can secure qualification for the league phase of the Champions League if the title holder replacement is used and they win the Scottish Premiership.
At the start of the season, it seemed that winning the league would not be enough and the title holders would have to go through the qualifying rounds.
However, the UEFA coefficient keeps changing based on the teams’ performances in Europe, and Rangers have a 59.250 coefficient.
