Arne Slot has challenged his Liverpool players to "play from the first to the last second" at Paris Saint-Germain or risk another humiliation like Saturday's FA Cup exit at Manchester City.

The Reds were humbled 4-0 in the Etihad quarter-final as Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick alongside Antoine Semenyo's effort in a 20-minute spell either side of half-time.

"What gives me belief? The first 35 minutes, because it is not the first setback we have had," Slot said.
