Arsenal are interested in signing the Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Malik Tillman during the summer transfer window.
The United States International has a contract with the German club until 2030, and they consider him as an “unsellable” asset. However, Arsenal are looking to sign him to add some much-needed creativity and dynamism in the middle of the park.
They will also face competition from Aston Villa. It remains to be seen which of the two Premier League clubs comes forward with an acceptable offer for him. An offer of around €45 million could be enough to get the deal done, as per FussballDaten.
Arsenal certainly have the financial muscle to pay up, and Tillman would be a quality long-term acquisition. The opportunity to join the Premier League side will be exciting for the United States International. It would be a huge step up for him, and he would get to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Even though Leverkusen are unwilling to let him leave, they will find it difficult to turn down a substantial offer.
