It’s been quite the story. However the results on Sunday unfolded, Rangers were top of the table at the start of play.

And coming from 6th, it’s quite the turnaround.

Yes, many Rangers fans are pushing a fake story that Rohl took Rangers over in 11th. It’s untrue. Rangers were 6th after Steven Smith’s draw with Dundee Utd.

But at one point the team under Russell Martin was indeed second-bottom, an unthinkable position not seen since 1989 and when we were bottom, as widely discussed in recent match analysis.

Now, even being top isn’t that big a deal – Philippe Clement did it, Michael Beale did it, Gio did it, Stevie did it.

In fact, the only manager in Rangers’ reasonably recent history aside the horrendous 2012-2018 era not to have Rangers top was Russell Martin.

Danny Rohl has now become standard, putting Rangers in a position the club is supposed to be in. We got gaslighted that badly by Martin that to this day fans still compare with him, even though he was only in charge for barely four months, something echoed in coverage of the club’s direction.

The scar Martin left will never heal....
