Rangers secured a 4-2 victory at home to Dundee United on Saturday.

The Light Blues started the game with a distinct lack of intensity, but took the lead through Ryan Naderi, who, quite frankly, couldn’t miss.

Thelo Aasgaard’s effort was fumbled by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, leaving Naderi with a tap-in at the far post to give the Gers the lead, with Dujon Sterling doubling Rangers’ advantage towards the latter stages of the first half.

Dundee United pulled one back on the stroke of half-time, with Amar Fatah finishing below Jack Butland and into the far corner, after Rangers had claims for a foul on Mikey Moore dismissed.

Danny Rohl made changes at the break, and Djeidi Gassama made his mark within minutes, getting the assist after Aasgard restored Rangers’ two-goal lead, not that it would last too long, with Zachary Sapsford setting Ibrox up for a nervy finish.

Those nerves were subdued just as quickly as they appeared, with Bojan Miovski finding the net to make it 4-2 to the Gers with minutes to play.

It’s another win for Rohl at Ibrox, and one that will greatly increase Rangers’ title hopes.
