A former Rangers winger has hit back at social media 'haters' after leaving the club.

Rabbi Matondo is determined to prove his critics wrong and insists that he has what it takes to be successful.

The ex-Gers winger recently completed a transfer to Norwegian side Brann after being allowed to exit Rangers early, with his contract set to expire this season.

Upon his arrival in Bergen, the Welsh international was quizzed about the negative social media comments he received during his tenure at Rangers.

Matondo said: "I want to show the haters and the world that there is still a player in me. As long as I stay injury-free, I know I can show it.

"It will be exciting to see the messages then if they come.

"I don't really follow it. People send me different things. Some things I laugh at. It's okay. That's football.

"We've all been there. People make up their own minds about specific things or players."
