KANSAS CITY (April 3, 2026) – A clash between reigning NWSL Shield winner Kansas City Current (1-3-0, 13th place, 3 pts.) and defending NWSL champion Gotham FC (1-1-2, 9th place, 5 pts) will take place on Saturday, April 4, at CPKC Stadium. The rematch of last season’s NWSL quarterfinal – and a preview of this year’s NWSL Challenge Cup – is slated to begin at 3 p.m. CT.

The match will broadcast nationally on CBS with Jacqui Oatley and Lori Lindsey on the call as well as on the World Feed with Tyler Terens and Kika Toulouse. Fans can listen to the action on 90.9 The Bridge with Dave Borchardt and Jillian Carroll Letrinko, and the game will be available on the KC Current App in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Saturday’s contest will serve as Power of Us, presented by United Way of Greater Kansas City. United Way of Greater Kansas City, the Current’s front-of-kit and official charity partner, will celebrate the power of the Kansas City community and National Volunteer Month. There will be an exclusive co-branded rally towel giveaway for the first 6,000 fans in attendance, and a pre-match flyover will highlight the festivities.
