Mastantuono’s airport moment goes viral

Fresh off Argentina duty during the international break, Franco Mastantuono was mobbed by reporters at Ezeiza Airport.

The questions to him were direct, including whether he’d like Enzo Fernández to join him at Real Madrid.

“Franco, you could have Enzo as a teammate, what does that mean? Would you like that?” the journalists asked him.

“Of course I would,” he replied.

Journalists pressed him again, suggesting Enzo’s recent comments about Real Madrid were a hint, Mastantuono shut it down as best he could.

“He said he’d like to live in Madrid, that’s a hint, isn’t it?” was the second question.

“I don’t know anything, to be honest,” he replied. The clip has since spread across Argentina, dragging the Fernández rumours back into the spotlight.
