Liverpool star Florian Wirtz has delivered a masterclass for Germany during their 4-3 win at Switzerland on Friday night. The Reds midfielder scored two goals and provided two assists in the international friendly at St. Jakob-Park.

Wirtz has had a mixed season since arriving at Anfield from Bayer Leverkusen last summer for a fee which could go up to £116.5m. The 22-year-old has struggled to get up to speed with the Premier League after shining in Germany's Bundesliga for Leverkusen.

The creative midfielder has scored six goals across all competitions and provided eight assists for Arne Slot's side so far. And his talent was on full display against Switzerland.

Wirtz's brace included a spectacular finish from the edge of the box an hour in. He then netted the winner in the 85th minute for Julian Nagelsmann's team.
