Liverpool supporters have been debating the legacy Mohamed Salah will leave at Anfield when he departs the club at the end of the season.

Salah has put himself firmly in the conversation to be the greatest player in 134 years of Liverpool history, alongside the likes of Steven Gerrard and Sir Kenny Dalglish.

After Salah announced his intention to leave the Reds on Tuesday, Rousing The Kop asked readers to vote on its new TalkingPoints platform for whether the Egyptian was in fact the number one. It was tight, but according to RTK voters, Salah is indeed Liverpool‘s best ever player.

Having scored the third most goals of any Liverpool player in history, and won two Premier League titles, a Champions League and an FA Cup, Salah is rightfully right up there alongside Gerrard and Dalglish.

And while some older supporters may well dispute the results, 53% of RTK readers voted that the current No. 11 sits above either of them as the best to ever do it.
