Manchester United have earmarked three players as potential summer signings ahead of what promises to be a crucial off-season for Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS. Top of the agenda for the United hierarchy will be finding a permanent replacement for Ruben Amorim, with Michael Carrick having taken interim charge at the beginning of the year.

Carrick has impressed since taking the reins, but whoever is in charge of the Red Devils, it’s gearing up to be another important season of transfer business for the club. From outgoings to incomings, there’s plenty of work United need to do on their current squad.

One player who has emerged as a potential signing, according to the Daily Mail, is Marcus Tavernier, who has impressed during his stint with Bournemouth. Following the departure of Antoine Semenyo, Tavernier has stepped up his performances for the Cherries, and across the entire campaign, Tavernier has grabbed six goals and five assists.
