Sevilla are considering bringing Everton’s Nathan Patterson to La Liga in the summer. 

That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, who report the Everton player is one of two targets for Sevilla.

The Premier League side had shown keen interest in Sevilla’s Juanlu Sánchez in the winter market.

Two months ago, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain that Everton proposed €15m plus Patterson on loan for Juanlu. Both the 24-year-old Scotland international and Juanlu stayed where they were.

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC now points out the Everton player was an option in January, but the move failed because Juanlu didn’t end up leaving.

Sevilla haven’t forgotten Everton player

The right-back is still on the Andalusian club’s radar, and they are looking at him for next season.

Sevilla manager Matías Almeyda now has Juanlu and José Ángel Carmona as the two recognised right-backs at his disposal. Their sporting director, Antonio Cordón, is already planning to sacrifice the duo in the summer.

That’s because the Spanish club have an urgent need to improve their finances and the duo’s sales can help them in this regard.
