No lead is safe against Lionel Messi.

The superstar forward scored twice and helped Inter Miami erase a 2-0 deficit, beating Orlando City 4-2 on Sunday.

Following the goal, "Messi ran toward the Orlando City bench and had a question -- he asked them if they wanted an autograph," according to Billy Heyen of SportingNews.com.

Mateo Silvetti and Telasco Segovia added goals in Inter Miami's second-half barrage of scoring.

Messi's first two goals of the season had fans and pundits alike hype:

"He's the best player to ever play this sport," Miami coach Javier Mascherano told reporters after the game. "He's a leader, and as a leader, he inspires others, but he also often needs to be inspired himself," Mascherano said of Messi. "When he was driving forward, he had more attacking options, and with so many opportunities, he clearly has the ability to create chances like no one else, and that's what allowed us to turn the game around."

Messi now has 52 goals in 55 career matches in MLS, a remarkable tally.
