Roberto Martinez said his biggest regret about his time at Everton was a failure to manage expectations after his stunning first season in charge.

Martinez led the Blues to a haul of 72 points in his first campaign - overseeing 21 Premier League wins as the club finished fifth in 2013/14. A disappointing season followed as his squad struggled to replicate the form of the previous year and Everton fell to 11th place - the same position recorded under Martinez the next year, his final season in charge.
