Snoop Dogg performs at private concert in Llansamlet

Staff at a Swansea business were left stunned after global rap icon Snoop Dogg performed a surprise hour-long private set in their office canteen, with one organiser calling it “absolutely nuts”.

The American superstar, who is a co-owner of Swansea City, played the invitation-only show at the headquarters of Au Vodka on Monday night ahead of attending his first home game at the Swansea.com Stadium.

What had been a staff breakout space, complete with ping pong and pool tables just a day earlier, was transformed into a packed nightclub-style venue with more than 400 guests in attendance.

Co-owner Jackson Quinn has opened up on the gig, saying the rapper had originally been scheduled to do a DJ set, but it quickly evolved into something far bigger.
