Gary Neville says Manchester United have a real chance to finish third in the Premier League table this season after their unbeaten start to life under Michael Carrick continued.

Benjamin Sesko's third goal off the bench in three games sealed a 1-0 win over Everton on Monday Night Football, in another match in which United did not play well but did not lose.

That goal has seen United rise back up to fourth in the Premier League table, this time with a three-point lead over fifth-placed Chelsea, who dropped points at home to Burnley on Saturday.

And with third-placed Aston Villa now just three points ahead of them - with Unai Emery's side, Chelsea and Liverpool all facing European knockout football in March - Neville has backed United to return to the Champions League.
