It was a game of two halves in this dinner time kick-off at the New York Stadium where, despite taking an early lead, the Millers lost two-one.

The Millers got the best of starts after Duncan Watmore, making his first start since joining in January, got to the ball in the box and was brought down by Jay McGrath who was handed a yellow card with three sides of the stadium shouting for a red. After both sides had words with referee Simon Mather the yellow card stood and Sam Nombe spotted the ball sending it high into the centre of the goal in front of the packed away end. Minutes later Nombe did well taking the ball into the area with McGrath putting it behind for a corner which Josh Benson sent into the area with the Rovers defence clearing. Watmore moved forward sending the ball for Harry Gray but it was a bit heavy finding Rovers’ ‘keeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala.
