Joe Aribo will return to the fold for Leicester City this weekend to boost the club’s options in midfield.

Aribo has been forced to sit out the past two games against parent club Southampton, but will be eligible to play against Stoke on Saturday.

The Nigerian started against Birmingham shortly after his arrival on loan and so will be a frontrunner for inclusion in the starting line-up this weekend, especially if interim boss Andy King remains in charge.

His return means City have five midfield options for the three positions. Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp and Divine Mukasa started the last league game, with Louis Page replacing Skipp in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Mukasa made an impressive impact in his two starts so far and so is likely to remain in the team. It seems two of Aribo, Winks and Skipp will be selected for the other midfield roles.
